I work in private practice as a therapist, and am the director and principal trainer at the Northern Rivers Gestalt Institute. My interest in applying Field Theory in therapy led me to Hellinger?s work. I appreciate the respectfulness of the phenomenological approach, the ability to work directly with the complexity of someone?s field, and some of the challenging structural ideas that Hellinger puts forward. As with the principles and practices of Gestalt, I am always looking to apply HellingerÂ’s ideas to my own life, and to challenge myself with the blocks to love flowing in my own family system. I know I still have a great deal to learn, both personally and professionally about this work, and at the same time I have found some success in running constellations both in Australia and in the USA.
